Jan 1st move in: 1 room in 3 bedroom SPACIOUS apartment by Brookline public library
We are three biology postdocs at Harvard, all working in the Longwood medical area. One of us will be finishing his postdoc next month and leaving us. Therefore, in our three bedroom apartment, there will be one bedroom available at the start of the... year. The lease is from January 1st to the end of June, and then we all have the option to renew the lease for another 12 months after that.
The apartment is conveniently located in terms of walking or cycling to Longwood. There are trees and serene park immediately next door to us. Within five minutes walk, there are coffee shops, restaurants, a supermarket, swimming pool, gym, cinema, bookshop, public library. Overall, the neighbourhood is quiet, clean, safe, and family oriented. There is also a T stop that can get you directly to downtown Boston.
The apartment itself is spacious and well sunlit. We have a LARGE communal space with two sofas to relax on. We have a comfortable dining area. The kitchen is well equipped with cutlery/pans etc, which you are welcome to use or bring your own, as you wish. We've got an electric piano. There is a balcony to sit on and appreciate the morning air. Our landlord Henry is a kind guy who will quickly respond if we need help with anything. He just gave us a flashy new laundry machine/dryer that is free for us to use. And we have a dishwasher, microwave, gas stove, oven, all the standard things needed to live.
As for us who you would be living with, we are friendly and like each other, and we are fairly quiet and studious. One female and one male, from India and UK, in our 30s, and we welcome anyone.
