Cozy, sunny studio with mid-century-modern furnishings: Spring/summer sublet btwn May 31-August 31

Harvard faculty offering a late spring/summer break sublet. Preference will be given to a subletter who can take the entire 3-month period of June through August, but shorter stays will also be considered. The studio is ideal for 1 person.

This...
north-facing Harvard Housing studio apartment is on the 4th floor of 13A Ware Street, located two blocks over from Harvard Square.

The apartment is bright, cozy, and fully furnished with mid-century-modern furniture. It features a queen bed, writing desk space, book shelves, reading chairs, and a table with chairs in the dining nook of the kitchen in a separate room. The work area includes a new LG monitor and printer. There are also top line kitchen appliances, such as a Breville espresso machine and Zojirushi rice cooker, and Crate & Barrel dining ware, along with any other essentials one might need for a comfortable and studious summer stay in Cambridge.

A high-powered window AC unit keeps the entire studio cool on hot days. Electricity and other utilities are included in the rent, so you needn't worry about usage.

A well-serviced laundry room in the basement of the building takes cash and credit/debit. The building is safe and secure. Harvard facilities management will be responsive if any problems arise during your stay. There is a mail room on the ground floor for easy receipt of packages. I have had no issues with package theft in two years. There is a bike rack just outside the building.

No smoking, including electronic smoking devices, or pets are permitted.

1 month rent will be required to secure the sublet, plus a smaller security deposit that will be returned after move out. There is no broker fee.

The apartment will have been professionally cleaned before your arrival. The cleaners come every month and can schedule their visit around your availability. If subletting, you agree to also have them come clean on your day of departure.

Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions. Kindly provide a bit of information about yourself, including your desired dates, in any email inquiry.
