North Cambridge Studio

A light, airy 3 room ground floor studio with trees and a yard right outside. It is a good sized apartment for one person- our last tenant was here for 10 years but she bought a house. There is a sleeping area, living area, kitchen, bathroom and... entryway but there are no doors between the living rooms which makes it a studio. Wood floors (pine, not hardwood, but that wasn't an option), two closets, access to storage in the basement, and nice blinds and interior painting. Owners live on floors 2 and 3 with their cats and occasional visits by adult children. This is a quiet neighborhood and it is ideal for a student who wants to do well at school but also to have a few people over for dinner without worrying about space. It would be intimate for a couple but people have done it.

The apartment is offered furnished (current pictures show our current tenant's setup). Sheets and towels must be provided by tenant.

There is a washer/dryer setup in the basement the tenant can use as they wish. The previous tenant used it for 8 years. But washer/dryers can be iffy so we won't absolutely promise this in the lease. If it breaks, we'll reasonably try to fix it but plumbers can be tough to find in a timely manner so if that happens, there is a laundromat about a 10 min walk away.

This is a super convenient location to Davis and Porter Squares, about 35 minute walk to the heart of Harvard Square. There is uncovered bike parking on site, a library across the street, tennis courts nearby, Linear Park a few blocks away for running and biking and much, much more right outside the door.

All in all, a great place for a person who wants to both enjoy being in Cambridge and have a place to take their studies seriously.
