Small, clean, quiet, comfy bedroom in Beautiful Condominium on Prospect Hill in Somerville.
Hello,
I am a female/senior (young in spirit :-)))), retired teacher who is seeking one female undergraduate, graduate, post-grad, doctoral, post-doctoral student, intern or faculty member who needs a quiet, clean and furnished room.
You will be... sharing the kitchen and bathroom in my beautiful condominium/home in a safe and quiet neighborhood on Prospect Hill, Somerville, Massachusetts, overlooking the City of Boston.
The view is priceless!!!! My home has cathedral ceilings, is painted in soothing colors, is clean and tidy. I retired in 2014 after teaching twenty-seven years in the Boston Public Schools.
The small bedroom is furnished with a trundle bed. The bedroom has a desk, printer, dresser, bookshelves and closet (AC, if need be). There is access to wi-fi, tv, kitchen appliances, utensils and large bathroom. Resident, on-street parking only. I do have two temporary residential parking permits.
Bus stop at end of the street - #86 directly to Harvard Square. The "T" - Red Line (subway transportation) is located in Harvard Square, Central Square and Kendall (stops at MIT), continues into Boston. Green Line Trolley is now located in Union Square (bottom of my street) - One stop is close to MIT, continues either way to Tufts University or into Boston....:--)
Access to bicycles in Union Square (located at the bottom of Prospect Hill)....Harvard, MIT, Tufts....all are within walking distance, except Tufts.
I have received five Moderna Vaccinations and booster. Vaccination(s) preferred.
My home is a quiet place with a "priceless view" where one can study, reflect, contemplate, you know....enjoy life one day at a time.
I'd like to meet applicants in person or at least FaceTime. My small home is enough space for two people. It is important that we meet to discuss what kind of living environment we both want. It has been said that I am "An American Mom" to undergrad, grad, doctoral, post doc students from Greece, Italy, Germany, India, China, etc. Although I am flattered and have life-long relationships/friendships with these wonderful amazing women, I welcome a student who just wants a clean, quiet, safe, comfortable environment to study and pursue their goals....
