Spacious light-filled studio in family home, shared bath

Hi! We're looking for short-to-medium term renters for our wonderful Arlington home. The rent is $1,950, and includes all utilities, shared free laundry, a monthly cleaner for the shared bathroom (with option to add cleaning service for the studio at... a cost).

This studio is on the third floor of a multi-family home. We occupy the living space on the second floor and a small guest bedroom on the third floor. There is a full bath that is shared in the hallway between the studio and guest room. The laundry machines for our entire apartment happen to be located in the third floor bathroom as well and so, are shared with us.

There is no separate entrance to the 3rd floor, so you will enter through our 2nd floor apartment. The space is large—with an alcove for an office. There are two twin xl beds that can either be used as two separate beds, or a king-sized bed. There is a kitchen area with a fridge, air fryer, toaster oven, microwave, and hot plate. There’s a living space with a couch and comfy chair, a TV, and a dining area with a table and four chairs. There is a closet with a dresser. The space has wonderful natural light, and high-quality furniture and appliances.

You'll have access to the garage, which we use as a studio/workout/project/bike storage space, shared by multiple units. You are likewise free to use the backyard. And, there is ample storage on the property.

East Arlington is an awesome location. You'll be close to the downtown Arlington where there are a ton of restaurants and shops, minutes from East Arlington downtown with wonderful cafes and the historic Capital Theater, and super close to the Minute-Man bike trail (you can bike to Davis square in 10 minutes!) It's also a ten-minute drive from Middlesex Fells for hiking and mountain biking, walking distance from lovely walking paths, and a 5-minute drive from Shannon beach and the Mystic Lakes, a great swimming hole. You can drive to Tufts University in under ten minutes, and Harvard University in fifteen.

We are two adults in our mid 30s, an 8-year old child (who is with us 50% of the time), a college-aged cousin staying a few months, a 9-lbs dog and an even tinier black cat. We are past our party years – love to socialize and dream of a peaceful home. We’re super friendly, and open to sharing the occasional meal and building community in other ways.
