Sunlit Room in Beautiful Victorian Home Midway between Harvard and Central

My sister and mother and I, along with my sister’s partner and their two-year-old daughter and seven-year-old dog, currently share a large and beautiful victorian house, located on Broadway midway between Harvard and Central. Our mother has... late-stage dementia and requires 24/7 care. My sister and I are her primary caregivers, though we do receive short visits from home health aides and nurses five days a week. We have a big, sunny room available to rent, furnished or unfurnished, with a large walk-in closet. The available room is quiet and peaceful but the house’s common areas can sometimes be pretty bustling, and anyone who lives with us would have to be understanding of the periodic noise and chaos that comes with toddlers and dogs. You’d share a big and well-appointed kitchen, with your own refrigerator and shelf space. You’d also have shared access to a washer, dryer, and dishwasher. There’s high-speed wi-fi throughout the house, and the living room has a big-screen TV with a plethora of streaming services. You’d share your bathroom with one other roommate and occasional family visitors. You’d also have access to a backyard and balcony, and there’s usually ample on-street parking. Rent, by Cambridge standards, is a steal: $1,200 a month, including all utilities and Internet. We’d like to start with a month-to-month arrangement. If you think you might be the right fit for us, reach out and let’s arrange a visit.
